Mission & Background

Disco Lemonade is a boutique creative microstudio serving businesses looking for high-end brand design without leveraging an expensive full-service agency. Creative projects are totally customized to each client and level of branding complexity.

I’m Emmy — the founder, creative director, and sole designer behind the studio. With 10 years under the belt in the corporate and agency design world, I’ve started Disco Lemonade to focus in on my love of bringing unconventional and bespoke visual identities to small brands and businesses. I’m a mother, wife, painter, designer, and lover of beautiful things.

My background is in both traditional fine art and brand-focused design. I was concentrated in traditional mediums before earning my MFA in Graphic Design and Visual Experience, and have since worked across industries building multi-channel campaigns, visual identities, and brand experiences. My background in the arts and interior design shows up often in my design work, resulting in custom illustrations, textures, and patterns bringing an artisan style to my work with brands.

Disco Lemonade is Midwest based, but works virtually with clients all over the place.
